Do you realize we are less than 2 months away from the college football season? I can see it off in the horizon, but some history in another sport was made this weekend.

How are the ACC Bloggers feeling about all this?

First lets start with the history. NC State is headed to the College World Series for the first time in 45 years. In an otherwise disappointing College Baseball Tournament for the ACC, the Wolfpack shined. Let’s get the thoughts on this great achievement from two NC State blogs Backing the Pack and StateFansNation.

UNC can still make it Omaha with a win over South Carolina, but I’d consider them the underdog tomorrow. The Gamecocks have the country’s best baseball program the last 3 years, with 2 titles and a runner up finish. They know how to win big games. The Heels despite their talent haven’t played well recently and will need to play outstanding to win tomorrow. TarHeelFanBlog gets you prepared with a little preview for tomorrow’s game.

Tomahawknation readies Florida State fans by looking at some of the more important players on FSU’s roster. They check in on WR Rashad Greene in this piece.

Boston College blog BCInterruption gives their take on how the ACC should realign their division. This is always an interesting discussion, but as we know nothing is changing anytime soon.

Should the ACC looking into uneven bowl money distribution? Sryacuse blog NunesMagician looks at some comments made by Cuse AD Daryl Gross who appears to favor this.  I was promoting this more than a year ago during realignmentpalooza back in May of 2012.

This didn’t come from an ACC blog, but from a blog titled Football Study Hall. They did an interesting article with detailed analysis basically illustrating how the ACC hasn’t had an elite football team step forward the last few years. We knew this already, but with Clemson and FSU both finishing the season the top 10 this past year, we’re are getting closer to having an elite ACC football team.
