It’s the week the ACC has been pointing to all year. Clemson vs Florida State #3 vs #5, Heisman trophy quarterbacks, National TV, Gameday… What more could a  college football fan ask for? Of course we have to check in with Clemson and Florida State blogs first this week…

Tomahawknation asks is this year’s Clemson Florida State matchup the biggest game ever in the ACC?

While Clemson and Florida State bask in limelight of their game, it’s isn’t so sunny at some other places. Recently I wrote about the drop in Georgia Tech’s recruiting leading to a decline in that program. ACCPerscription also wrote an insightful piece on how the Yellow Jacket program is slumping.

Miami gets a showcase game Thursday night against North Carolina. The Tar Heels can start salvaging their season with a win, and they are talented enough to do it.  Are the Canes ready to take their show on the road? Miami blog StateoftheU breaks down the game.

Despite Virginia Tech’s recent 6 game winning streak, Hokie blog GobblerCountry is concerned about the offense. Right now Virginia Tech is the ACC’s version of Florida. Great defense struggling offense. If Virginia Tech can get that offense going, the Hokies can go from being a solid team to a very good one.
