Of course you want to go!
The Syracuse Orange haven't participated in the ACC Tournament since 2013-14, and to celebrate their return, the conference went and moved its yearly basketball championship North-ward (/natch).
For those that forgot, the ACC does occasionally leave its typical Greensboro home and utilize other sites to stage its basketball tournament. For the next two years, it's in Washington D.C., close by to former league member Maryland (HA!) and in the building of the hated Georgetown Hoyas. We typically do well when tournaments are held at the Verizon Center. SU also has a sizable alumni contingent in the DMV region. We know of at least one guy who will definitely be there.
This year's ACC Tournament will begin on Tuesday, March 8 and run through Saturday, March 12. And for those interested, the Opening Day tickets are now on sale. With the ACC standings very much in flux, Syracuse could conceivably finish anywhere from second to 14th, so perhaps Orange fans will be in the market for the first day of action (but hopefully not). Just three games take place on that Tuesday -- the 12-seed vs. 13-seed matchup leads off, followed by Boston College the 15-seed vs. the 10-seed and 11-seed vs. the 14-seed, respectively. Tickets for the full block are available at $29, $39 and $49, depending on the quality of seat you're looking for.
Syracuse, along with every other ACC team, will be selling blocks for subsequent days on their own. So keep an eye out for that too (as will we).
